Özlem SUCU ŞEN graduated from Süleyman Demirel University with a degree in Food Engineering in 2002. Between 2003 and 2018, she worked as a Quality Assurance Specialist within the Istanbul Regional Directorate of Quality Management of the Ministry of National Defense. While continuing her professional career, she completed a Master's degree in Business Administration at Beykent University in 2004 and a Ph.D. in Business Administration at Haliç University in 2017. From 2018 to 2022, she served as a Lecturer in the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at Antalya AKEV University. She has publications in the fields of Gastronomy and Tourism.

SUCU ŞEN currently continues her academic career as a part-time Lecturer at Girne University.
