She was born in 1965 in Ankara. In 1989, she graduated from the Construction Department of the METU Engineering Faculty.

In 2005, she completed her master degree with her master thesis “A Study on the Determination of Working Conditions and Job Satisfaction of Navigation and Air Traffic Control Center Employees in Turkish Civil Aviation Sector” in Gazi University Institute of Health Sciences Department of Occupational Health and Work Safety. She completed her Ph.D. program in Ankara University Social Sciences Institute, Department of Social Environmental Science in 2011 with her doctoral thesis named “Environmental Sustainability and Airports: Esenboğa Airport as an example”.

After her graduation; she started to work as a civil engineer in the Directorate for Construction and Real Estate of General Directorate of State Airports Authority, in 1989. In 2002, she was appointed as the head of the construction-supervision branch of the same presidency. She respectively served as Vice President and President of Construction and Real Estate Department of General Directorate of State Airports Authority in 2006-2009. She served as State Airports Authority Deputy Chief of Esenboğa Airport in 2009-2021.

Since 2018, She has been The Gender Balance Improvement Advisory Board Member of the DGCA of Turkey.

She retired from General Directorate of State Airports Authority in 2021 and started her new position as The Technical Manager of T&T Airport Management B.O.T. Company of Ercan Airport, in 2021-2024.

At the same time, She was been "Aviation Sustainability and Environment" lecturer (part time) at the Department of Aviation Management, University of Kyrenia in 2021.

She has been served Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Aviation and Space Sciences, the Aviation Management Department, University of Kyrenia.
