İsmail KOŞUM, graduated from the Department of Electronics Engineering at the Air Force Academy in 1995, worked in various units of the Turkish Air Force, especially on communication and radar systems, and received his Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering from the Air Force Academy Aviation and Space Technologies Institute and Old Dominion University, USA.

Throughout his career, Koşum worked in important projects in various infrastructure programs of the Turkish Defense Industry and NATO.

Following his retirement in 2018, he taught Electronic Communications and Radar systems courses at the Naval Forces Petty Officer Vocational School, and since 2022, he has been giving various courses on Basic Electronics and Electronic Communications to the students of the IHA Department at the University of Kyrenia.
