İsmail Barlas BİLGİSU successfully graduated from the Department of Electronic Engineering at the Air Force Academy in 1989 and served in various units in the Logistics/Supply branch as a Supply Officer within the Republic of Turkey Air Forces Command for 28 years, retiring in 2017. He started at Kütahya Dumlupınar University, Department of Business Administration in 2004. He completed his Master's degree in Management Organization in 2007 and started his doctoral studies in 2021 at Istanbul Nişantaşı University, Department of Business Administration. He is currently continuing his education at the thesis stage.

BİLGİSU serves professionally as a Full-Time Lecturer at the University of Kyrenia and teaches courses on aviation, aviation management and logistics.
